The Wonder Of It All est une excellente représentation du « son Heartsfield ».

 Le morceau qui ouvre le disque est en réalité une version intégrale d'une version précédente qui clôturait le premier album. C'est une charmante ballade écrite et chantée par JC Hartsfield. Elle comprend une excellente section instrumentale centrale qui a d'ailleurs valu un article dans le magazine de jazz Down Beat.
