Together and Forever n’est pas un mauvais album, mais il souffre de la comparaison avec ses merveilleux prédécesseurs. Le groupe cherche à explorer de nouvelles directions afin d’élargir son audience et tâtonne un peu.

Sans le savoir à l’époque, cet album signait la fin de la grande époque du groupe, la fin de son contrat avec Capricorn Records, le prestigieux label de Macon déposant son bilan la même année.

Après les grands albums et le succès, commence le temps des épreuves.
