Elliott Randall fut le premier guitariste du groupe Steely Dan. En 1970, Randall a signé avec Robert Stigwood Organization qui réuni Cream, The Bee Gees, John Mayall et The Staple Singers et il forme le groupe appelé Randall's Island, qui a enregistré quelques albums sur Polydor.
