Après une performance exceptionnelle dans le show télévisé MIDNIGHT SPECIAL de David Bowie sur la NBC, la popularité du groupe augmente de façon surprenante.

"Fandangos In Space" sort en 1974 et Carmen combine parfaitement le Flamenco avec le Rock Progressif et avec le chant en Espagnol et en Anglais. 

La grande musicalité et l'excellent mélange entre Flamenco et Rock Prog sont impressionnants.

Parmis les admirateurs du groupe on citera : David Bowie , Marc Bolan et Ian Anderson.Le groupe tournera en 1er partie de Jethro Tull et son album Fandangos in space se classera dans le top 10 aux côtés de Elton John , Yes , Cockney rebel , Leo sayer et les Temptations.
