 En Eté 1975, Atlantis part en tournée aux États Unis en première partie de Lynyrd Skynyrd. Après cette tournée, le guitariste Alex Conti est congédié et il continue à jouer avec un autre groupe Allemand appelé Lake. 

Le nouveau line up est complété avec l'ancien guitariste Frank Dietz et, en tant que second guitariste, Rainer Marz.

L'influence Americaine plus Rock est notable sur le quatrième album d'Atlantis "Get On Board", mais le LP et la tournée suivante n'obtiennent pas le succès commercial escompté.
