John Verity Band a été créé par John Verity, qui a fait partit des groupes comme Argent, Charlie et Phoenix. Avant Argent qu'il avait créé John Verity à tourné en Amérique en tant que soutien à des artistes tels que Jimi Hendrix ou Mountain.
En 1973,  en Grande Bretagne,le John Verity Band a été relancé et à sortit un album l'année suivante.
