Instrumentalement, ce groupe comprenait trompette, trombone, un peu de saxophone baryton, guitare, basse, batterie, piano et chant.
Sans le chant, ce serait un joyau méconnu du rock progressif psychédélique américain. Le jeu est vraiment excellent, et les compositions sont inventives et d'une complexité impressionnante par endroits, ces New-Yorkais semblaient passer une audition pour intégrer les Mothers of Invention.
Mais qui est cette parsonne à la batterie?
Il s'agit de Ruth Romonoff, née Komanoff, qui a effectivement fait partie des Mothers of Invention, en tant que spécialiste des percussions .
