Très bon premier album du musicien folk-rock anglais. 

Enregistré en 1971 mais sorti seulement en 1974, il a été enregistré par différentes formations de grands noms de la scène folk britannique. L'album contient quelques morceaux folk-rock énergiques, mais la musique est plutôt sobre et épurée. 

Les chansons évoquent souvent les saisons, notamment l'hiver ; cette musique chaleureuse et douce serait parfaite à écouter au coin du feu avec un verre de vin chaud à la main.
