Totalement inconnu en France, Ian Matthews est l'un des plus grands chanteurs des années 70. 
Par sa constance: cet album est excellent, comme tous ses albums d'ailleurs, et précisément chaque chanson est parfaite, bien orchestrée, bien chantée, il n'y a rien à jeter. Ian Matthews n'a je crois jamais sorti une mauvaise chanson. Chacune est un hit. A qui peut on le comparer ? Je pense a Neil Young, mais c'est la pochette qui me trouble, ce n'est pas ça. C'est du californien, mais pas de la soupe pour auto-radio au soleil, c'est intelligent, c'est cool, c'est sexy : c'est formidable. (Boawaks)
