Bien qu’ayant eu un accueil mitigé de la part des critiques, « Taste » est un très bon album de blues rock ayant le mérité d’avoir révélé le génie Rory Gallagher. Les titres « Blister on the Moon », « Leaving Blues », « Born on the Wrong Side of Time » et « Same Old Story » sont les temps forts de l’album.
