C'est en avril 1972 que le groupe anglais CURVED AIR sort son 3ème album, Phantasmagoria une réussite en matière de rock progressif. CURVED AIR, créé en 1970 avait publié leur premier album Airconditioning en novembre et leur deuxième nommé Second Album en 1971. Mais c'est Phantasmagoria qui reste leur meilleure production
